The Government is asking the people for their authorisation to ratify this treaty to guarantee Ireland's future. As regards paying the teachers, public servants and everybody else, the Deputy will be aware that €150 billion of European money is in circulation as liquidity in this country in order to keep those services going and to keep those salaries paid. This will continue as Ireland remains in its programme for the next two years. Deputy Ó Caoláin is saying that the access to that level of funding should be cut off at the end of that period.
