Leaders' Questions
10:30 am
Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin (Cavan-Monaghan, Sinn Fein)
He has repeated the bogus threat, which is what it amounts to. I believe the people will see that it is bogus and they will have the courage, recognising it is not only in Ireland's interest but also in the interest of people right across Europe, to vote "No" on 31 May. How does the Taoiseach intend to put our public finances back in order? How does he intend to pay teachers, nurses and gardaí? This is a question he is very happy to put across this House but I put the question back to him. How does he propose to pay teachers, nurses and gardaí if this treaty is ratified?
