Social Welfare Bill 2011: Second Stage (Resumed)
12:00 pm
Frank Feighan (Roscommon-South Leitrim, Fine Gael)
When the country became banjacksed four years ago, I decided to take a voluntary pay reduction, which I have maintained. My constituency colleague told everyone that he would take a 50% pay cut, but I do not know whether he did. We will know at the end of this year. The Government will wear the green jersey.
Starting in Bertie Ahern's time, each Deputy gets an allowance of €42,000.
