1:00 pm
Bernard Durkan (Kildare North, Fine Gael)
Question 5: To ask the Minister for Agriculture; Food and the Marine the degree to which he intends to seek support for his position and proposals on Common Agriculture Policy reform throughout the other EU member states in view of the fundamental nature of the food industry in Europe and the extent to which Europe can naturally meet the ever increasing demand for food; if he will endeavour to ensure that the industry in Europe is not undermined in the context of other agreements in the context of the World Trade Organisation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
