I do not believe the Deputy participated in those debates at European Council level. The Taoiseach did participate and I can assure the Deputy there was robust exchange and huge pressure applied. When I visited Paris and Berlin on behalf of the Government very significant pressure was being applied. The Deputy is a little naive if that is his view.
