Common Agricultural Policy Reform Proposals: Statements
2:00 pm
Simon Coveney (Cork South Central, Fine Gael)
It is hoped that people in this House will act responsibly during that debate. I can assure Members that I will listen to their arguments and will, when and where possible, try to facilitate them. I look forward to this House collectively ensuring that we do everything physically possible to ensure that by the time a deal is done, which is likely to be during the Irish presidency in the first half of 2013, there will be in place a sustainable plan for growth, through the Common Agricultural Policy, for the Irish food sector into the future.
