I note the decision made by the Government yesterday to sell its final 25% holding of Aer Lingus along with 25% of ESB. Does not the sale of the 25% of Aer Lingus prove that, despite the assurances given in advance of the partial sale of Comhlucht Siúcra Éireann and that airline, once one starts selling parts of State companies one heads down an inexorable route towards total privatisation?
