Given the growing threat to patient safety from the ongoing savage health cutbacks, the removal of 1,947 public hospital beds from the system and record numbers of people on trolleys in accident and emergency units, when will we see the promised legislation to establish the patient safety authority?

Regarding Fine Gael's bedrock policy on the establishment of a universal health insurance scheme, when will the White Paper on financing such a scheme be published?
