I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the serious impact which the loss of a special needs assistant at Presentation Primary School, Listowel will have on the children affected, and the overall impact throughout the State on children whose education and development will be seriously set back if the cuts to special needs assistants go ahead, and the need for the Minister to revoke the cuts before school term resumes in September.
