Adjournment Debate Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Michael McCarthy - the need to grant financial assistance to Abbeystrewry national school, Skibbereen, County Cork; (2) Deputy Martin Ferris - the delay in the Shannon liquefied natural gas project; (3) Deputy Joan Collins - the need for the HSE to release the Meridian productivity report into the Dublin paediatric hospitals and have it debated in Dáil Éireann; (4) Deputy Tom Fleming - the provision of the necessary funding in respect of diabetes paediatric services in the HSE south area; (5) Deputy James Bannon - the need to restore funding to Lough Ree Development Co-operative under the Pobal community services programme; (6) Deputy Ciarán Lynch - the need to make statutory provision to enable the tenant purchase scheme for local authority apartments under Part 4 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 to be given effect; (7) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív - an gá atá ann go gcuirfear dóthain airgid caipitil ar fáil d'Údarás na Gaeltachta don trí bliain atá romhainn; (8) Deputy Colm Keaveney - the need to consider the concerns of the family of a man (details supplied) who died in Germany; (9) Deputy Joe Costello - the need to ensure that outreach facilities for young people at risk such as those (details supplied) in Dublin 9, based in the community and funded by the HSE, are properly supervised; and (10) Deputy Dara Calleary - the need for a range of schools in County Mayo to secure funding under the increased budget for the 2011 summer works scheme.

The matters raised by Deputies Michael McCarthy, James Bannon, Ciarán Lynch and Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív have been selected for discussion.
