If one did not watch the monitor and only listened to the speech made by the Minister, Deputy Noonan last week, one would have thought that it was the former Minister, Deputy Brian Lenihan, following on. The bank policies being pursued by this Government and the announcement last week are in step and in line with what was being pursued by the previous Government.
