Universal Service Charge: Motion
8:00 pm
Brian Hayes (Dublin South West, Fine Gael)
I find it difficult to stomach that a party can lecture the two parties of the Government about austerity when, in terms of its Administration in Northern Ireland, it is very good at austerity. It is very good at challenging the notion of James Connolly, as suggested by Deputy Ferris. What would James Connolly do in the case of budgets in Northern Ireland being opposed with such ferocity by Sinn Féin Ministers in charge of that Government. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, applies here.
