I thank Deputy Charlie Flanagan and also Deputy Alan Shatter for giving me the opportunity to deal with this Bill on behalf of Fine Gael. We support the Bill. I agree with the sentiments expressed by Deputy Rabbitte that commonsense must prevail in the administration of the law as contained in this legislation.
