I am sure the Tánaiste is aware of a judgment in the European Court of Human Rights which decided that a woman who had cancer had her rights violated because the Government has not implemented the decision of the people in a constitutional referendum on the right to life of a woman and, when her life is in danger, the right to an abortion. The court's ruling is binding. The Government has not had much time to consider the judgment but will it be making a statement when it has done so? When will that happen?
