Joan Burton (Dublin West, Labour)

Does the Tánaiste believe, in terms of the sacrifices people are making, that it is good enough of Dáil Éireann not to debate or comment on what has happened to the money taxpayers and citizens have contributed to run the country? This is a fundamental question about democracy. We object to this Government railroading the Appropriation Bill through in this format. It is just not good democracy.
