The Sinn Féin Deputies oppose proposal No. 4 on the so-called Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Bill 2010. We do so because it underpins the Government's failed banking strategy and because, despite what the Taoiseach claimed in his responses earlier to Deputies Burton and Gilmore, there is not adequate time to address the reasons this Bill should not be supported.
