Local Government (Mayor and Regional Authority of Dublin) Bill 2010: Second Stage (Resumed)

I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders or the Order of the Dáil of this day, the Dáil shall sit later than 4.45 p.m. and business shall be interrupted not later than 6.10 p.m., and the proceedings in regard to No. 14a, statements on EU sugar market reform shall be taken at 4.45 p.m and shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion at 6.10 p.m. and the following arrangements shall apply: (i) the statements shall be confined to a Minister or Minister of State and to the main spokespersons for Fine Gael, the Labour Party and Sinn Féin, who shall be called upon in that order and who may share their time, which shall not exceed ten minutes in each case; (ii) a Minister or Minister of State shall take questions for period not exceeding 40 minutes and (iii) a Minister or Minister of State shall be called upon to make a statement in reply which shall not exceed five minutes.
