On a point of order, in case the Minister of State would inadvertently mislead the House, what he is telling us is not accurate. This was discussed but it was then vetoed by the Taoiseach. The Minister of State at the time, now Minister for Defence, Deputy Pat Carey, told the committee he could not proceed.
