I wish to raise two matters with the Taoiseach. First, when replying to me during Leaders' Questions this morning, the Taoiseach suggested that the vouched fuel allowance announced in the budget was to apply only when the carbon levy was to be applied to solid fuels. I was somewhat surprised to hear this because, to my recollection, that distinction had not been made previously by either the Minister for Finance or any of the Ministers responsible. I have taken the opportunity to have the matter checked in the meantime and there is no such distinction.
