Question 101: To ask the Minister for Transport if his attention has been drawn to the recent National Survey of Goods published by the Central Statistics Office for 2009 which shows that the road haulage of goods has dropped by 40% over the previous 12 months; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that many hauliers are unable to maintain payments; his plans for protecting the industry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
