We have made soundings to the Taoiseach over recent weeks about the application of guillotines in this House. In this case, I understand a raft of amendments will not be reached in the time that has been allocated. On that basis, I oppose to the imposition of a guillotine on the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2010.
