It is appropriate that the Minister for Finance is taking the Order of Business because we learned today that since 2005 the Department of Finance warned the Minister for Finance and the Government of the dangers of the property bubble created. The Minister has signalled an investigation into the Department and he has also indicated the launch of the further investigation into banking.
