Any independent person who has read Professor Honohan's statement on the systemic importance of Anglo Irish Bank would be deeply shocked by what the finance spokesperson of the Labour Party has said tonight. Professor Honohan said there were three aspects of the test on whether a bank was systemic. He looked at academic literature on how to decide if a bank was of systemic importance.
