What the Opposition, and every person outside this House want is to find out the basis for what happened on that night in September 2008. They want to know the factors leading up to the decision that was taken to provide a blanket bank guarantee. It appears the Government is prepared to talk about everything and put every spin that is humanly possible on this scenario without coming to the point of how the decision was made.

I was a junior Minister for five years and I have seen all the documentation that must be provided even for the introduction of a sheep scheme.
