Amendment No. 31 in this grouping is in my name and seeks to deal with the same issue. Many people live outside the State for a number of years. They settle down and decide they want to have children and may subsequently adopt. When they come back to Ireland they want to have their family appropriately recognised. I believe the Minister of State has accepted the intention behind my amendment and that he covers it adequately in amendment No. 70. However, I would still like to move my amendment.
