Adjournment Debate Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Denis Naughten - the plans for emergency, acute and maternity services at Roscommon Hospital and Portiuncula Hospital, County Galway; (2) Deputy Michael D. Higgins - the need for adequate grant aid to be provided to access students; (3) Deputy Dan Neville - the care of Alzheimer's patients; (4) Deputy Terence Flanagan - the need to provide additional funding to schools to support children who are dyslexic; (5) Deputy Joe Behan - the future of the Health Service Executive, in view of recent developments; (6) Deputy Willie Penrose - the need to maintain planned surgery services at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, County Westmeath; (7) Deputy Joe Costello - the plans to resolve the bed and space problems in the accident and emergency unit of the Mater Hospital, Dublin; and (8) Deputy Catherine Byrne - the plans of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to urgently renegotiate a public private partnership with regard to Dolphin House.

The matters raised by Deputies Denis Naughten, Joe Behan, Willie Penrose and Michael D. Higgins have been selected for discussion.
