By my calculations we have about six weeks left before the House rises on 9 July. Under normal circumstances, a period of two weeks is given before a Bill is moved on Second Stage in the House. Against that background, when are we likely to see the legislation to provide a proper statutory basis for the community national school model, which is under the patronage of the Minister for Education and Skills? It has been promised for the past two years.
