Order of Business (Resumed)
10:30 am
Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin (Cavan-Monaghan, Sinn Fein)
Yesterday, the Taoiseach indicated that he was willing to schedule statements and questions on the crisis in child protection. He said this would be facilitated to address the progress being made and the implementation of the recommendations in the Ryan and Monageer reports, as well as the recent report by the Ombudsman for Children. The value of the commitment was lost, however, when the Taoiseach said it would not happen next week or the week after.
