Seanad amendments Nos. 40, 41 and 43 are related and will be discussed together. Seanad amendment No. 40:

Section 16: In page 15, subsection (1), lines 25 to 27, to delete paragraph (a) and substitute the following:

"(a) by the insertion of the following definitions in subsection (1) of section 1:

" 'Act of 2010' means the Fines Act 2010;

'fine' has the same meaning as it has in section 2 (amended by subparagraph (iii) of section 17(a) of the Act of 2010) of the Courts (No. 2) Act 1986;",".
