Order of Business

It is proposed to take No. 9, motion re implementation of new powers of national parliaments under the Lisbon treaty; No. 10, motion re by-election for Donegal South-West; No. 21, Central Bank Reform Bill 2010 - Second Stage (resumed); and No. 3, Nurses and Midwives Bill 2010 - Order for Second Stage and Second Stage. It is proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, that (1) No. 9 shall be decided without debate; (2) in the event of the motion re by-election for Donegal South-West being moved, the proceedings shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion after 20 minutes today. The speeches shall be confined to the main spokespersons for Sinn Féin, Fine Gael, the Labour Party and to a Minister or Minister of State, who shall be called upon in that order, who may share their time, which shall not exceed five minutes in each case; (3) Private Members' business shall be no. 76, motion re ministerial pensions and shall also take place tomorrow immediately after the Order of Business, to be brought to a conclusion after 90 minutes on that day.
