It is proposed to take No. a9, motion re ministerial rota for parliamentary questions; No. 9, motion re payment to the social insurance fund under section 9(9)(a) of the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005; No. 22, Merchant Shipping Bill 2009 - Report Stage (resumed); No. 22a , statements on development in child welfare and protection services. It is proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, that (1) Nos. a9 and 9 shall be decided without debate, and any division demanded on No. 9 shall be taken forthwith, that the proceedings in relation to No. 22a shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion at 3.30 p.m. today and the following arrangements shall apply; the statements of a Minister or Minister of State and of the main spokespersons for Fine Gael, the Labour Party and Sinn Féin, who shall be called upon in that order, shall not exceed 15 minutes in each case; the statements of each other Member called upon shall not exceed ten minutes in each case and Members may share time; and a Minister or Minister of State shall be called upon to make a statement in reply which shall not exceed ten minutes. The Dáil, on its rising today, shall adjourn until 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 5 May 2010.
