The restructuring of the Cabinet is a botched job. It is the worst reshuffle since Garrett FitzGerald's botched reshuffle of 1986. FÁS, which is the most troubled agency in this country and needs a Minister to fix it, is divided among three Departments - the Department responsible for social protection, the Department responsible for education and skills and the Department responsible for enterprise, trade and innovation. There will be no oversight and we know each of the Ministers will pass the buck to each other. There will be a corporate governance nightmare.
