I too support the amendment. Well thought-out and well-focused tax incentives could bring significant opportunities to Limerick and the mid-west. It is also important, as the regeneration project seems to have hit the rocks, that the Government demonstrates it has some commitment to developing Limerick and offers some hope to the people of that city which has suffered immensely over recent years.

I hope the Minister will accept the amendment as it simply requests the Government to consider the tax incentive. Of course, we hope it will not just consider but implement the incentives.
