Phil Hogan (Carlow-Kilkenny, Fine Gael)

The Minister promised the White Paper by the end of December 2008 but we still do not have it over than a year later. A Cabinet sub-committee has been set up to rein in some of the Minister's madness in regard to some of his proposals in the Green Paper. There will be a delay because Fianna Fáil does not like what the Minister is doing.

In principle, Fine Gael has no problem with the directly elected mayor of Dublin.
