It is better to leave change in this area to the legislation pertaining to CAB rather than provide for it in separate legislation. The Deputy may be aware that some time ago I established a group comprising officials from my Department, policy people and members of CAB to explore proposals in this area, including reducing the number of years. I understand the group will meet tomorrow and I expect it to finalise its views presently, at which point we will move to amend the CAB legislation rather than this Bill. It is better to await the group's final consideration of the issue.
