At this hour of the night, I will not persist. The point is, however, that this was the argument advanced in respect of our not being able to have inquiries by parliamentary committees. All I am doing is highlighting circumstances where one might allege that a political rival is a brothel keeper, make a sworn affidavit to a court to the effect that one did not make such an allegation and then state, when tapes which indicate that one did make such an allegation are produced, that one is innocent because one forgot that this was the case. How would it be possible to forget that one alleged that someone is a brothel keeper? That defies belief and it just could not happen.
