Question 3: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if, in view of a High Court decision in favour of An Bord Pleanála in October 2009, whether he is supporting a Supreme Court appeal against the grant of permission by An Bord Pleanála for the Galway City outer bypass; the discussions he or his officials have had with the person (details supplied) initiating the court action on this matter; if financial or other supports are being provided by the State; if he has supported other cases in which objections or litigation were initiated planning authorities or An Bord Pleanála; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
