Notwithstanding the absence of a certain Minister with responsibility for the environment and his continued absence in this House on the Order of Business, I respectfully suggest that somebody might send the relevant Minister a note to the effect that issues that occupied the minds of members of the public during the past six to eight weeks are sufficiently serious to warrant his appearance in the House on the Order of Business on the first day of this session in 2010.
