There was an easier way to find these moneys when the Taoiseach claims there was not. As Fine Gael has pointed out for the past two and a half years, it could have easily been done with the elimination of quango after quango. The Taoiseach was informed in writing this would save €175 million.

If the Taoiseach proceeds down this line against this motion this evening and tomorrow, he will divide the public representatives of all the people on the issue of social welfare allowances to carers, the disabled and the blind.
