That would be absolute nonsense. The schedule is absolutely clear. I have here three precedents where votes were called on the Order for Second Stage. The only case where the Ceann Comhairle ruled it out of order was when the Bill did not originate in this House but in the Seanad. It is an important issue. It is very clear that is the case. I ask the Ceann Comhairle to adjourn the proceedings to have this matter clarified.
