Regarding the finance Bill, a statutory period applies in respect of its publication following the announcement of the budget. Regarding the social welfare Bill, its publication will be depend on whether matters are required to be provided for in a legislative framework prior to 1 January 2010. A decision in this regard has not yet been made by the Government.
