National Asset Management Agency Bill 2009: Report Stage (Resumed) and Final Stage

They are different. Buying the assets at an overinflated price and selling them subsequently and making a profit is entirely different to overpaying for the assets. In circumstances where one would pay market value, that is all one would pay. If future moneys were invested in the bank, this would be on the basis of equity from which another return would be obtained. They are two connected but separate things.
