No. 67 on the Order Paper relates to Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Duchenne Ireland met the Minister for Health and Children, Deputy Harney, on 6 June. In reply to a parliamentary question tabled earlier this week, the Minister stated that the issues raised by Duchenne Ireland in respect of the 150 boys in this country who suffer with the conditions are under active deliberation and are receiving detailed consideration.
