I appreciate we are in a difficult economic climate but the ethos of corporate social responsibility is strongly embedded in our corporate sector. Long may it continue. Deputy Stanton should note that there are 21 volunteer centres located throughout the country, five of which are based in Dublin, namely, the south Dublin county, Dublin city south, Dublin city north, Dún Laoghaire Rathdown and Fingal centres. They provide a very important service and the audit which the volunteer centres of Ireland has carried out shows the level of volunteering has increased very significantly in the past year or 18 months.
