I want to ask the Tánaiste about two matters. On the day the NAMA details were announced, we also received details of a proposed extension of the bank guarantee scheme for five-year periods indefinitely. This scheme, which the Minister for Finance has put before the House, is momentous. Does the Government intend to allow for a separate debate on the proposed extension of the scheme, particularly on the inclusion in the proposed scheme of the guarantee for the dated subordinated debt.
