I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the difficulties being experienced by employees who have lost their jobs, and employers whose businesses have been forced to close down, in accessing social welfare assistance and entitlements, despite both sectors having paid tax and PRSI in respect of themselves or their employees, often over long periods of time.
