The HSE has sought to discover which scoliosis procedures can be completed between now and the end of the year. It is better for the House to address the wider policy issue, namely, to ensure that paediatrics are brought together, in this city and on a national basis, and that we get the best output for the very considerable resources we are providing. The sum this year is over €250 million.
