We are being asked to rubber-stamp the serious measures contained in the Financial Measures (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill. The Government got it wrong last Thursday about the Broadcasting Bill and the Companies (Amendment) Bill and it has it wrong again today about the Financial Measures (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill and we will not support the guillotine and this approach to very important matters.
