I had no expectation that this issue would be resolved in this emergency budget. However, I have a hope, if not an expectation, that it will be dealt with in the budget for 2010 later this year. That the Commission on Taxation is bringing forward recommendations on this area gives me some hope. On foot of that, I withdraw the amendment.
