The Department of Health and Children has undertaken that it will examine the whole area and there will be a review in three years to check whether there have been any problems. The Department will also review the draft application form to ensure that it will only seek necessary information. I will have to check with regard to any legal ambiguity regarding the point that requests should be reasonable. The Ombudsman is also open to examining complaints where there is any undue delay. The review of the scheme in three years should pick up any problems and the fact we reviewing the draft application form will ensure we are not looking for information that is not necessary.
